Les Maîtres Violoneux, couleur Québec are proud to host the 28th edition of the Canadian Grand Masters Fiddle Competition, held from August 24th to 27th, 2017, in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield.

Each year, fiddlers from across Canada are invited to demonstrate their mastery of the violin and compete for the title of Canadian Grand Master.

The participants perform in front of a jury, playing Canadian traditional melodies on the violin. The musicians can choose any style of Canadian traditional music, but must follow a set of criteria.

The weekend will be filled with thrilling activities on the violin, including workshops and performances by renowned fiddlers. Join us!
